Salwar kameez (shalwar kameez or shalwar also spelled qameez) is the dress of men and women supported in South Asia and Central Asia. It is a unisex clothing worn in the same manner as shirt and pants of Westerners. Traditionally it has been worn in Pakistan, Afghanistan and the Punjab (a region in northern India and Pakistan jointly). It is the official dress of Pakistan. Since 20 century have accepted women in southern India also complement this dress sari, the traditional dress of India.
